I won the first place by garnering 772 votes from the top photographers and artists from around the world - Was truly humbled by the recognition and at the same time, was proud that an Indian was chosen to showcase the uniqueness of the nation.

CONCEPT BEHIND THE WORK - UTILITARIANISM

No matter how through the analysis, decisions taken at every level of the hierarchy will continue, in some manner, to remain biased towards the majority demographic. No matter the effort taken, there will always be a section somewhere feeling that they ended up on the wrong side of the equation. Accepting this paradox as a necessary evil is the first step towards better decision making and mitigation of collateral damage, which is inevitable.
